Thettalon Farm was founded in 2020 by a group of young people who had a common vision: to create a community of organic honey producers that respects nature, animals and people. We all had experience in beekeeping, but we wanted to change the way we operated, reduce our reliance on chemicals and tensions, improve the quality of our honey and give back to society. 
To do this, we decided to enter an organic protocol, which means that we follow strict rules for managing our bee colonies, choosing sites, monitoring bee health, avoiding pollution and certifying our honey by independent bodies. The organic protocol allows us to protect biodiversity, maintain the balance of the ecosystem, produce a natural and pure product and ensure consumer safety.
The transition to the organic protocol was a challenge, but also an opportunity. It required time, investment, training, collaboration and adaptation. But it also gave us many benefits, such as increasing productivity, improving quality, creating a strong brand, developing new markets, enhancing social acceptance and contributing to sustainable development.
